ALMOND HUMMUS
Makes Lots
INGREDIENTS
400g can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
85g (1/2 cup) Lucky Natural Almonds
Juice of one lemon
2 tbsp tahini
80ml water
1 tsp sea salt (may need a little extra depending on your taste)
1 clove of garlic
1 tsp sumac (extra, to serve)
60ml extra virgin olive oil (extra, to serve)
30g (1/4 cup) Lucky Slivered Almonds (extra, to serve)
DIRECTIONS
- Place everything into a food processor and combine until completely smooth. This usually takes about 3-4 minutes. Add a little extra water if you would like a silkier texture.
- Spread onto a serving plate and top with a little extra virgin olive oil, sumac and slivered almonds then serve with your favourite crackers.
